Diagnostic time is chargeable even where the result is that no repair is carried out. The goal is to identify the fault properly rather than replace components by guesswork.

Clutch, flywheel, gearbox and other substantial jobs can vary considerably by vehicle and access, so they are assessed before a final quote is agreed.
